Delhi government needs 7000 Field Surveyors; apply @ des.delhigovt.nic.in

NEW DELHI: Delhi government has invited application for the post of Field Surveyor for the Planning Department from graduates having smart phones. 

The field work for collection of data will be carried out during October-November, 2018. For this work Delhi Govt needs around 7000 Field Surveyors. 

Candidates can apply through the Delhi government official website http://des.delhigovt.nic.in by August 31, 2018. 
The application is invited from Graduates/retired teachers/retired govt. officials/ civil Defense volunteers etc, who are willing to work as Field Surveyors on short term basis for collection of household data can apply for the same. 


The planning department of government of NCT of Delhi is to take up the work for updation/collection of household data in Delhi on key socio-economic parameters in the field of Education, health, Employment, Income, Socio-economic vulnerability etc on real time basis through Directorate of Economic and statistics. 


Qualification: Minimum Educational Qualification for applying as Field Surveyor is Graduation and candidate should possess smart phone for filling of e-Schedule and proficiency to type in English in mobile application. 



According to the notification, issued on August 8, 2018, the rate of remuneration to the Field Surveyors will be Rs 25/- for filling of all the entries pertaining to each individual member of household including common information for the household in the e-schedule.


A Field Surveyor, on an average, can collect the data for 50-60 individuals per day and will be able to earn total honorarium of Rs 1250/- to Rs 1500/- per day depending upon their performance. 


The honorarium/payment will be made to the Field Surveyors through ECS to their bank accounts, after successful completion of field work assigned to them.
