IGNOU Extends Admission Deadline For ODL Courses And Re-registration


The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline to apply for programmes offered through open and distance mode (ODL) and also via online mode. The deadline to apply will now end on February 21, 2022. Earlier it was supposed to be closed on February 10, 2022. Even before that, IGNOU extended the last date for admission to these courses from January 31 to February 10, 2022. Interested candidates can apply online.


IGNOU launches certificate programme in Food and Nutrition

 

School of Continuing Education, The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), launched a certificate programme in Food and Nutrition through a virtual ceremony on Monday, February 14, 2022. Interested candidates can visit the IGNOU SAMARTH website at www.ignouiop.samarth.edu.in and register for the programme.

The certificate in Foods and Nutrition is a post-literacy level awareness programme that is meant for people with basic reading and writing skills. The Programme aims to acquaint the learners with the role of food in ensuring healthy living for the individual, family and community.

NCPSL, IGNOU ink MoU for Sindhi Chair

 

A signing ceremony organized by the School of Translation Studies and Training, IGNOU for the renewal of MoU for Sindhi Chair between Indira Gandhi National Open University and National Council for Promotion of Sindhi Language (NCPSL), Ministry of Education today.

The Sindhi Chair is housed in the School of Translation Studies and Training, IGNOU.
The welcome address was given by Prof Rajendra Prasad Pandey, Director, SOTST, IGNOU. Followed by opening remarks made by Prof. Sumitra Kukreti, PVC, IGNOU.

The special address was given by Prof. Aquil Ahmad, Director, NCPSL, MOE, GOI.

Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, IGNOU inaugurate 33 Extension Centres to link Vocational Education with Higher Education



New Delhi: Shri Rajesh Aggarwal, Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India, and Professor Nageshwar Rao, Vice Chancellor, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) inaugurated 33 Extension Centres, aimed at strengthening the vocational and technical training framework in the skill ecosystem.
