1. Last date for online registration is 10th March 2019. Please register below ‘Online Registration for 32nd Convocation. Note: The date of 32nd Convocation will be decided in due course of time (Keep visiting website regularly for any information updates).
2. Students completed their Programmes in December-2017/ June-2018 Term-End Examinations are eligible for award of original Certificate at this Convocation.
3. Eligible students are required to register themselves for obtaining the degree/diploma certificate and pay the requisite fee through online mode only.
4. They may attend the Convocation and collect the certificate at any of the Regional Centres or at Delhi, as per their convenience.
5. In case, Convocation is not held in the city opted by the student, he/she will be permitted to attend the convocation in nearby city of the Regional Centre.
6. The fee to obtain the original Degree/diploma certificate is Rs. 600/- per certificate to be paid though online mode only.
7. The exact date of Convocation and other details in this regard will be announced in due course of time and the registered students will be communicated separately.
8. In case, students are NOT invited to attend the Convocation or could not attend the Convocation even after submission of the requisite fee, their certificate will be sent by post, after the Convocation.
9. Click Hereto print the acknowledgement. If you do not receive an acknowledgement, you may wait 48 hrs.
10. Certificate/PG Certificate Programmes students are not required to register and pay the requisite fee. Their certificate(s) will be sent by post, after the convocation.

IGNOU Admissions 2018: Online registration for IGNOU courses begin

PUNE: Admissions for the July session are open in Indira Gandhi National Open University. Students can take admissions in any of the courses available namely certificate, diploma, post graduate diploma, bachelors, masters, PhD etc.

Interested students have to go the IGNOU home page at http://www.ignou.ac.in/ and then click on the tab which says online admissions open for July 2018. “Click on "LOGIN" button from the homepage of Online admission system and then login with your Username and password by clicking the "LOGIN" button given on the login screen. Fill personal details, programme details, qualification details, course details, and correspondence details,’ said the official notification.

Remember, while filling qualification details that ‘If your subjects are different than the subjects mentioned; click the "others" check box. For those with qualification of graduation and above, in the field "Board Code" select "9999".’

Students are advised to keep relevant scanned documents before applying online with them. The required scanned documents involve scanned photograph (less than 100 KB), scanned signature (less than 100 KB), scanned copy of age proof, scanned copy of relevant educational qualification (less than 400 KB), scanned copy of experience certificate (if any less than 400 KB), scanned copy of category certificate, if SC/ST/OBC (less than 400 KB), scanned copy of BPL certificate, if below poverty line (less than 400 KB).

Students can pay the fee online. The students are advised to save or print out the form for future reference.

Electronic Media Production Centre (EMPC) of IGNOU

The Electronic Media Production Centre (EMPC) has emerged as a major hub for the use of electronic media in distance education. Housed in the Sanchar Kendra Complex at Maidan Garhi campus in New Delhi, it serves as a Nodal Resource Centre in production, dissemination and transmission of educational software in the country, utilising a wide range of communication media. The facilities are being shared with various educational and training institutions, State Open Universities, Central and State Govt Ministries/Departments, NGOs, corporate bodies and other sectors.

The major activities undertaken by the Centre are the production and dissemination of educational audio-video programmes. Curriculum-based audio-video programmes are developed to supplement the courseware of IGNOU by a trained and skilled in-house staff, using state-of-the-art facilities. In addition, freelance filmmakers have been empanelled and suitable programmes are also sourced from agencies such as UKOU, Transtel DW TV and RCI, etc.

Both broadcast and non-broadcast modes of delivery are adopted. The cassettes/CDs are sent to RCs/SCs and are also sold at reasonable rates through the Marketing Unit of the EMPC.

he Campus Placement Cell (CPC), IGNOU in association with Regional Centres of Delhi, NCR and adjoining RCs (Karnal, Aligarh, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Khanna and Jaipur) is organizing Campus Placement Drive for ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd. and NetAmbit (an insurance broking firm) along with two HR agencies namely Vetta Solutions for Navigaint Technology and Get Hired for Interglobe Technologies and Globus Infocom as their clients onMay 18, 2016 (Wednesday) at the Convention Centre, IGNOU Campus, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi.Some other companies are also expected to confirm their participation in near future. As and when their participation is confirmed their respective Job Descriptions (JDs) would be uploaded on IGNOU website. The salary bracket for all offered positions is Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 25,000 per month.

 

The Placement Drive has been targeted for the final year students registered in July 2015 and January 2016 sessions in BA, BCOM, BSC, BSW, BCA, BTS. All registered students of MAH, MPS, MEG, MPA, MCA, MTM, MCOM are also eligible to participate in the drive.

The students are required to carry a copy of their recent resume (mandatorily containing IGNOU enrolment no.), an ID proof, address proof and recent passport size photograph at the time of interview. The students have to join immediately as these are urgent openings.

 

As you are aware, it is a placement drive in which multiple companies would be participating, hence, you are advised to go through the JDs of the companies very carefully.

IGNOU does away with community college scheme

Almost a year after it decided to have a relook at the community college scheme, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) on Wednesday decided to do away with the scheme completely based on non-performance of these colleges.

The university had close to 620 community colleges- catering to more than 80,000 students- of which 88 were deregistered two years ago because of non-performance.

It has come to notice that some mischievous persons are using fake websites in the name of IGNOU or are using IGNOU’s domain name in a misleading way to cheat the public/students by giving false and misleading information. Induction Meeting of BPP Programme on 29th January 2012

Dear Learner,

I welcome you to " Indira Gandhi National Open University" , the world's largest university disseminating open and distance learning.This Central University established by an act of Parliament in 1985 is committed itself to serve the needs of variety of learners. 

Bachelor's Preparatory Programme (BPP) is offered by the University to those students who wish to do Bachelor's Degree of IGNOU but do not have the essential qualifications of having passed 10+2. In the absence of such qualifying certificate these students are deprived of Higher education. To enable such students to enter higher education stream, IGNOU has designed this preparatory Programme. BPP is, however, not equivalent to 10+2. 

The Bachelor's Preparatory Programme has following three courses. Student has to select any two of these courses.

1. Preparatory Course in General Mathematics             OMT -101
2. Preparatory Course in Social Science                       OSS  -101 
3. Preparatory Course in Commerce                            PCO  -  01

After Successful completion of BPP Programme Student can Enroll for B.A , BTS, B.Com. and BSW Programme of IGNOU only. 

Induction Meeting of the BPP Programme for the January 2012 session will be held on Sunday 29th January 2012 at 11:00 AM in study Centre 0742 D. Please note that Induction meeting is an important event and please do not miss it. 

Please Note : It is compulsory to summit the Assignments and Examination form before 31st March 2012 to appear in the Term End Examination June 2012. 

• Students can also submit online examination forms as per guidelines through IGNOU  website at www.ignou.ac.in.
• Examination fee @ Rs. 60/- per course is required to be paid either through online payment gateway, cash deposit on designated banks and also through Demand Drafts.
