Indira Gandhi National Open University will close down the re-registration window for IGNOU January 2022 Session on December 31, 2021. Candidates who still have not applied for the January session can do it through the official site of IGNOU on ignou.ac.in

     IGNOU January 2022 Session: How to re-register 

• Visit the official site of IGNOU Samarth on ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
• Enter the login details or register online.
• Fill in the application form and upload the necessary documents.
• Make the payment of application fees.
• Once done, click on submit.
• Your application has been submitted.
• Download the confirmation page and keep a hard copy of the same for further need.

Meanwhile, the varsity has also started the fresh admissions part. Candidates who want to take admission in MSCMACS, PGDMCH, PGDGM, PGDHHM, DNA, PGDHIVM and PGCMDM courses can apply online. IGNOU January Re-registration Deadline Extended Up To March 31

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) on Tuesday announced the extension of the deadline for re-registration for the January session. The last date to re-register for the January session has been extended till March 31, 2021. Students can register online at ignou.ac.in. 

Initially, the deadline was January 15 which was extended till January 31. The deadline was again extended till February 15 and then till February 28. The deadline to re-register was again extended till March 15 which has been extended till March 31 now.

Students who are registered/enrolled in undergraduate/ postgraduate / semester-based programmes of two-three years duration can register for the next year/ semester of the programme irrespective of whether they have appeared in the term-end exam of the previous semester.

Important Notice for BA, B.Com and B.Sc students enrolled till January 2019 session

NOTICE 

Sub: Non-availability of credit transfer facility in BA, B.Com and B.Sc Programmes offered under Choice-based Credit System (CBCS)

The University is offering its Bachelor Degree Programmes (BA, B.Com and B.Sc) under the Choice-based Credit System (CBCS) from July 2019 session. Students who are enrolled till January 2019 session in these Programmes shall be allowed to complete their programme within the maximum validity period of six years. 

In case they fail to complete all the courses within the maximum validity period, they will be allowed to seek ‘Re-admission’ as per University rules whereby the validity of their registration shall be extended by a further period of two years, subject to the condition that the total period of validity including Re-admission period shall not exceed eight years.

In case a student is not able to complete all the courses even after taking Re-admission and joins the same Programme offered under CBCS, s/he will not be allowed to transfer the credits earned under old enrolment. Students enrolled in BA, B.Com and B.Sc Programme till January 2019 session are therefore advised to complete their programme within the maximum validity period plus re-admission period. 

IGNOU launches 6-month certificate programme in yoga

New Delhi: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has launched a certificate programme in yoga (CPY) ahead of the upcoming International Yoga Day, according to a PTI report. The course will begin from July 2019 session. The course will be imparted in English language, and anyone who has passed Class XII from any recognized board, irrespective of their stream, will be eligible to get enrolled in the programme.

IGNOU's School of Health Sciences (SOHS) launched the programme under which the learner shall understand the basic principles and practice of yoga. The course will be for six months and students will be given maximum of two years to pass the course. Candidates will have to pay a fee of ₹10,000 for the entire programme.

The Certificate Programme in Yoga will be offered through the regional centres of Delhi, Dehradun, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Jaipur, Ladnun, Chennai, Mumbai and Pune

The programme will contain 3 courses with 16 credits.

IGNOU Term End Examination 2019: Last date to submit examination form April 30, check other details here

IGNOU Term End Examination 2019: The Indira Gandhi National Open University has decided to extend the IGNOU Term End Examination form submission date for interested and eligible candidates till April 30, 2019. The submission of the examination submission form for June 2019 term End Exams began on March 1, this year and was schedule to conclude by April 15, 2019 with a late fee of Rs 1000 only. Now, candidates can submit their Term-end examination form online via official website of IGNOU i.e. exam.ignou.ac.in. The IGNOU Term-end examinations are scheduled to be held in the month of June by IGNOU.

Interested aspirants are requested to check the given below steps on how to submit the online Examination form on the official website of IGNOU:

• Step 1: Visit the official website of IGNOU i.e. exam.ignou.ac.in.
  Step 2: Instructions and guidelines for submission of form will appear on your screen.
• Step 3: Read each and every guideline properly.
• Step 4: Click on the link that reads proceed to fill Online Application Form
• Step 5: Enter the Programme Code and Enrollment Number and mode of payment.
• Step 6: Click on the submit button to login.
• Step 7: Fill the entire details and select the course codes.
• Step 8: Click on submit button for fee submission.
• Step 9: Make the fee payment

The admit card for the IGNOU Term End Examination 2019 will posted on the official website of IGNOU i.e. ignou.ac.in 10 days prior of the June 2019 examination. Make sure you take a print out of the hall tickets once it is released on the website. Do not forget to carry your hall ticket along with a valid identity card to the examination hall.
