The British Council has announced educational scholarships worth Rs 40 crore for Indian students who want to study in the UK.
The scholarships will cover a range of subjects from engineering, law, art and design to Information technology across more than 40 institutions in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
An Education UK exhibition held at the Taj Coromandel here from 2 pm to 7 pm on February 6.
Apart from getting their queries addresses, students can also avail information regarding visas and scholarships and also take up aptitude tests and attend career seminars on different themes.
As many as 12,000 visas were issued for students last year.
The council said the quality of students had gone up in the last few years.
