The Indira Gandhi National Open
University, commonly known as IGNOU, has extended the last date for online
registration of admission to the July 2020 session till October 25. Students
can now register online for admission to different postgraduate and
undergraduate degree programmes to the university till October 25. This
extension of last dates till October 25, however, does not include admission to
certificate and semester-based programmes in IGNOU for the July 2020 session.
The
programmes offered by IGNOU for the July 2020 session include bachelor’s degree
programmes, bachelor’s honors degree programmes and masters degree programmes.

the registration window, insert the login credentials

the IGNOU July session application fee
Candidates
will be required to upload certain documents in specified formats for admission
to IGNOU July 2020 session during the time of online application. The following
documents are to be uploaded:

·
Age proof -- Birth certificate or Class 10 admit cards with
dates of birth mentioned

Relevant educational qualification certificates

Experience certificates (if any)

December Term-End 2020 Examination Begins
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has opened
the online application window for registration of candidates to the December
Term End Examination. Candidates who have submitted their IGNOU assignments and
are eligible to take the December TEE can register online for the exam till
November 10
The university has also provided the students to appear in
December TEE if they were unable to appear in June 2020 TEE for COVID-19
related reasons or any other reason. Candidates who have not been issued IGNOU
2020 hall ticket for appearing in June TEE will also be allowed to appear in
December 2020 Term-end Examination. These candidates will not be required to
pay any extra fees
The university will not allow any changes in the
IGNOU December exam application forms after they have been submitted. Students
willing to appear for the December exams would be required to submit IGNOU
examination fee in online mode. Students would have to pay Rs 150 for every
theory paper and practical paper online

The admit card for the December term-end examination will be

Welcome to the Re-registration Portal for July 2020 Session. On this portal you can submit your re-registration form for the next year/semester and make online payment. This portal is open for both Indian and International students of the University. | |||
Before you proceed, please read the following instructions carefully: | |||
1. You will need to register on the Portal. Please click “New Registration’ button to proceed. Please provide your correct mobile number and e-mail ID, because we shall be able to send you confirmation and other important update only if we have your correct mobile number and e-mail ID. | |||
2. Choose your courses (wherever option is given) carefully. Please go through your Programme Guide for details of the courses on offer. Change of course at a later stage may result in loss of time available to you for your studies. | |||
3. Please exercise due caution in making online transaction. Please do not share your card details or OTP with anyone. As far as possible, please use your own card/net banking to make payment. You can also make payment through UPI, including BHIM App Students of International Division may use online payment options available to them. | |||
4. Please do not wait for the last date for submission of your re-registration form. | |||
5. In case online payment made by you does not get updated, please do not make the second payment immediately. Please wait for a day, check the payment status and then decide. | |||
6. In case you make payment two times for the same application, one of the payments shall be refunded to your account. | |||
7. Instruction to Fill Application Form Online
- If you are a first time applicant you are advised to click the available programme tab on the homepage of the Online Admission System and select the desired programme and carefully read the details of programme including eligibility criteria, fee details, duration, etc.
- You are also requested to download the Common Prospectus and read carefully the Rules of the University (Section 06) as mentioned in the common prospectus. You may also read sections 1, 7, 8, 9, 12 and 13.
- Click on the button NEW REGISTRATION that appears in the applicant login area and fill the required registration details.
- Remember, while choosing your UserName it must be between 8 to 16 characters.
- While choosing your password it must be alphanumeric and between 8 to 16 characters long.
- After filling the mandatory information click the "SUBMIT" button.
- Your username will be instantly sent to you via e-mail and SMS.
- Remember your Username and Password for subsequent login.
- If you have already registered i.e you are an existing user click the "LOGIN" button.
- Before proceeding for filling the form online the applicant must have the following:-
- Scanned Photograph (less than 100 KB)
- Scanned Signature (less than 100 KB)
- Scanned copy of Age Proof (less than 200 KB)
- Scanned copy of relevant Educational Qualification (less than 200 KB)
- Scanned Copy of Experience Certificate (if any) (less than 200 KB)
- Scanned Copy of Category Certificate, if SC/ST/OBC (less than 200 KB)
- Scanned Copy of BPL Certificate, if Below Poverty Line(less than 200 KB)
