IGNOU Extends Last Date for Admission to July 2020 Session Till October 25

The Indira Gandhi National Open University, commonly known as IGNOU, has extended the last date for online registration of admission to the July 2020 session till October 25. Students can now register online for admission to different postgraduate and undergraduate degree programmes to the university till October 25. This extension of last dates till October 25, however, does not include admission to certificate and semester-based programmes in IGNOU for the July 2020 session.

The programmes offered by IGNOU for the July 2020 session include bachelor’s degree programmes, bachelor’s honors degree programmes and masters degree programmes.

IGNOU 2020 July Session - Admission Process

Step 1: Visit ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in

Step 2: Download and check the Prospectus for detailed information on programmes and university rules

Step 3: On the registration window, insert the login credentials

Step 4: Submit

Step 5: Login again with the username and passwords

Step 6: Fill the details required

Step 7: Pay the IGNOU July session application fee

Candidates will be required to upload certain documents in specified formats for admission to IGNOU July 2020 session during the time of online application. The following documents are to be uploaded:

·         Candidates’ photograph

·         Candidates' signature

·         Age proof -- Birth certificate or Class 10 admit cards with dates of birth mentioned

·         Relevant educational qualification certificates

·         Experience certificates (if any)

·         Category certificates, if candidates fall under reserved categories

·         BPL Certificate, if candidate applying for the IGNOU 2020 July session is a Below Poverty Line candidate

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has opened the online application window for registration of candidates to the December Term End Examination. Candidates who have submitted their IGNOU assignments and are eligible to take the December TEE can register online for the exam till November 10

The university has also provided the students to appear in December TEE if they were unable to appear in June 2020 TEE for COVID-19 related reasons or any other reason. Candidates who have not been issued IGNOU 2020 hall ticket for appearing in June TEE will also be allowed to appear in December 2020 Term-end Examination. These candidates will not be required to pay any extra fees

The university will not allow any changes in the IGNOU December exam application forms after they have been submitted. Students willing to appear for the December exams would be required to submit IGNOU examination fee in online mode. Students would have to pay Rs 150 for every theory paper and practical paper online

Steps to Register For December Exam

·         Click on December TEE exam link

·         On the next window, read the instructions and confirm

·         Fill in the required details

·         Select the IGNOU exams centres

·         Pay the online IGNOU exam fees

·         Submit

The admit card for the December term-end examination will be uploaded on the IGNOU website 7-10 days before the commencement of the term-end examination.

Welcome to the Re-registration Portal for July 2020 Session.
On this portal you can submit your re-registration form for
the next year/semester and make online payment.
This portal is open for both Indian and International students of the University.

Before you proceed, please read the following instructions carefully:
1. You will need to register on the Portal. Please click “New Registration’ button
to proceed.
 Please provide your correct mobile number and e-mail ID,
because we shall be able to send you confirmation and other important
 update only if we have your correct mobile number and e-mail ID.
2. Choose your courses (wherever option is given) carefully. Please go
 through your Programme Guide for details of the courses on offer. Change
of course at a later stage may result in loss of time available to you for your studies.
3. Please exercise due caution in making online transaction. 
Please do not share your card details or OTP with anyone.
As far as possible, please use your own card/net banking to make
 payment. You can also make payment through UPI, including BHIM App
 Students of International Division may use online payment options available to them.
4. Please do not wait for the last date for submission of your re-registration form.
5. In case online payment made by you does not get updated, 
please do not make the second payment immediately. 
Please wait for a day, check the payment status and then decide.
6. In case you make payment two times for the same application,
one of the payments shall be refunded to your account.
7. In case you are using third-party services (cybercafé or some other outlet)
for submission of your re-registration form, please ensure that the courses
 have been correctly chosen 
and payment of programme fee has been
 made successfully. Please obtain a printout of the form submitted
 and payment confirmation.

Online Admissions for July 2020 Session of IGNOU with Instructions

Instruction to Fill Application Form Online

  1. If you are a first time applicant you are advised to click the available programme tab on the homepage of the Online Admission System and select the desired programme and carefully read the details of programme including eligibility criteria, fee details, duration, etc.
  2. You are also requested to download the Common Prospectus and read carefully the Rules of the University (Section 06) as mentioned in the common prospectus. You may also read sections 1, 7, 8, 9, 12 and 13.
    1. Click on the button NEW REGISTRATION that appears in the applicant login area and fill the required registration details.
    2. Remember, while choosing your UserName it must be between 8 to 16 characters.
    3. While choosing your password it must be alphanumeric and between 8 to 16 characters long.
    4. After filling the mandatory information click the "SUBMIT" button.
    5. Your username will be instantly sent to you via e-mail and SMS.
  3. Remember your Username and Password for subsequent login.
  4. If you have already registered i.e you are an existing user click the "LOGIN" button.
  5. Before proceeding for filling the form online the applicant must have the following:-
    1. Scanned Photograph (less than 100 KB)
    2. Scanned Signature (less than 100 KB)
    3. Scanned copy of Age Proof (less than 200 KB)
    4. Scanned copy of relevant Educational Qualification (less than 200 KB)
    5. Scanned Copy of Experience Certificate (if any) (less than 200 KB)
    6. Scanned Copy of Category Certificate, if SC/ST/OBC (less than 200 KB)
    7. Scanned Copy of BPL Certificate, if Below Poverty Line(less than 200 KB)
  6. Fee can be paid by following methods:
    • Credit Card (Master/Visa)
    • Debit Card (Master/Visa/Rupay)
    • Net Banking
  7. It is suggested to scan documents from your originals. Once you have uploaded the document, click the next button you will get the Form preview option. Save/Print your form for future reference.

International Yoga Day 2020: IGNOU reduces fee for Yoga programmes

Ahead of International Yoga Day, amid coronavirus lock down, Ignou is offering a certificate course in Yoga. Indira Gandhi National Open University, Ignou, is offering a six-month certificate course in Yoga since June 2019. It comes under the School of Health Sciences (SOHS). Students can also avail courses offered by Ignou this International Yoga Day on June 21, 2020.
Yoga and Naturopathy certificate programmes are available for those with undergraduate, postgraduate degrees and diplomas. Earlier the fee was rupees 10, 000 and now during lockdown it has been reduced to rupees 5000 now.

Dear students,

As you know that RC is presently closed following government instructions for educational institutions to prevent the spread of Corona virus. Hence, the staff is not coming to office and working from home. The landline numbers of RC were therefore going unattended leading to inconvenience to some of our learners.

Therefore to facilitate our RC Delhi-1 learners and to maintain a good connection with them even in this lock-down period due to COVID-19, we are releasing four mobile numbers of our RC to serve you better even in these difficult times.

NOTE THE FOLLOWING & FOLLOW:

01). This facility is only for our learners of RC Delhi-1.

02). These mobile numbers are separate and dedicated to different Levels of IGNOU Programmes, viz., Masters Degrees; Bachelors; Diplomas and PG Diplomas; and Certificate Level Programmes. You are requested to dial the number ONLY as per level of your Programme.

03). When you are connected, pl tell your Name, Enrollment number and Programme to our staff so that they may provide you exact required information

04). These four mobile numbers will be available from tomorrow onward during normal working days/hours, i.e., Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 6:00pm. Lunch time from 1:30pm to 2:00pm.

05). If you find your allotted number busy, kindly have patience and wait for some time because the staff might be talking to and helping some other student like you. Pl do NOT start dialing another number allotted to another level of Programme. It will create disturbance for our staff and other learners.

06). Pl do NOT ask for the information which is already available on IGNOU website like your Results, Assignment question papers, etc. Pl search these types of details on IGNOU website.

Dear students of RC Delhi-1,

It is notified in supersession of all previous circulars regarding assignment submission by email by the learners of IGNOU RC Delhi-1. Due to the several issues/queries of the learners regarding their inabilities to send scanned file of hand written assignment by email, file size limitations, non-receipt of their submitted assignments, chances of missing of their assignments at any stage of assignment processing, and also for the smooth handling of the bulk of assignments received through emails by RC and LSCs staff and the concerned Academic Counsellors, a Google Form link is created as follows:



Please note that:

1.You may download Assignment Questions from the link: https://webservices.ignou.ac.in/assignments/

2. Learners are requested to check IGNOU Regional Centre website and Regional Centre Facebook page for last date of assignment submission, if you have submitted your scanned copy of assignments earlier by email at any of the emails of IGNOU RC Delhi-1, then also you are required to re-submit the same assignment file in pdf on this link (https://forms.gle/5Kj9C1353LnqBdq79). You have to submit the assignments of each course separately. Means, for example, for submitting assignments of two different courses, you have to fill this Google Form two times.

3. Those learners who have already submitted the hard copies of their assignments at their respective LSCS, they need NOT to re-submit their assignments again on this link.

4. You are advised to submit a pdf file of scanned copy of only the handwritten assignments. Each page of your assignments must carry your signature OR name and enrolment number. Don’t submit the same file again and again for the same course.

5. The first page of your assignment must carry the following details of the learner:
·          Name of the learner:
·          Enrollment number:
·          Regional Centre Code:
·         Study Centre Code:
·          Programme Code:
·          Course Code of attached assignments:
·          Mobile number:
·          Email ID:
6. For each Course, their assignment responses should be scanned in ONE single pdf file. Means, if there are 10 questions in one assignment, there should NOT be 10 separate pdf files of these 10 
answers. These should be scanned in ONE single pdf file for easy uploading and downloading

7. Name of the pdf file should be in the Unique Format, i.e., “Enrolment Number and Course Code”. For example, for MS01 assignment, pl. send the scanned copy of the handwritten assignment response in one pdf file with the File Name: 2001218290MS01.

8. After successful submission of assignments you will automatically receive a RECEIPT by email at your given email id. Pl keep it safe with you and do not forward the same to any IGNOU email.
